When pasting numbers Excel converts any digits after 15 digits to "0"

so 1234567812345678 becomes 1234567812345670

I need to cut and paste from an email.

Is there a way to paste so the 16th digit shows correctly (without going manual)

Perhaps with a auto prefix of comma?

Thanks

probably because you copied value from email with any format and pasting to the sheet it will change format of the cell
with txt file format from email is removed and stay with simple text format

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
I copied number from your first post which is reformatted to text so I copied text and paste text to text formatted cell :)
you copied number from email which is formatted as ... eg. html, rich text or whatever
