Hello friends, Hope all is well!

thanks to you, I succeeded in hiding the ribbon by using the below line.
problem now: validation dropdown menu is not active. if I remove the below line
the validation works.

please help me remove the ribbon and allow the validation's dropdown menus to work again.

Application.ExecuteExcel4Macro "Show.ToolBar(""Ribbon"",False)"

Thank you very much in advance!

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
.
Something else must be occurring in your workbook / macros.

I used your line of code here and a drop down on sheet one still functions as desired.
