Hello

I thought I already posted this question but couldn’t find it anyways here I go

I am working on a weekly staffing schedule and it has the follow info type

C13 = start time ( 8:30 Am)
D13=End-time (5:00 PM)
E13 =Hours worked ( subtracting breaks with the following rules )

Works < 6 hours ( no break)
Works >8 hours (30 minute break)

Thanks
Ed

It is likely that to meet record keeping standards for break-times, you should be clocking/recording those break times instead of the calculation you are attempting.
Deducting a break time that an employee did not receive.... sounds like trouble.

Excel motto
Not everything I do at work revolves around Excel. Only the fun parts.
for cells C13, D13,F13 what is the format ?
You could use a custom one like : h:mm AM/PM
You could also send a link to your file to watch how it is !!
