Hi, I was trying to come up with a code for setting cell value equal to the found value in a range offset by two columns, but I can't get it to work. Noting the code I tried out, please let me know how it could be done.

Thank you,
David P.

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Not Intersect(Target, Range("N199")) Is Nothing Then
        With Sheets("Sheet1")
        .Range("R198").Value = .Range("P2:P195").Find("P198").Value.Offset(0, -2).Value
        End With
End If

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Not Intersect(Target, Range("N199")) Is Nothing Then
        With Sheets("Sheet1")
        .Range("R198").Value = .Range("P2:P195").Find(.Range("P198").Value).Offset(0, -2).Value
        End With
End If
End Sub
