Multiple Dynamic Lists

I’m trying to set up a table where you can have multiple dynamic lists. For example, column 1 has a drop-down list containing the asset group, column 2 would then have a sub-category if there is one otherwise it would remain blank and column 3 would then show the correct assets attributable to each asset group or sub-category. Is this possible? I’ve tried the INDIRECT function mixed with a VLOOKUP but haven’t managed to do it correctly.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Hi Special-K99,

Thanks for getting back to me - I will have a more detailed look but I don't think it helps as I have 3 drop down columns, each dependant on the content of the previous column. So linking drop down 2 to drop down 1 is fine but linking drop down 3 to drop down 1 is where it goes pear shaped. Also, if there is nothing in the drop down 2 column it throws a wobbler as well. Not sure if it can be done? but probably because I don't know what i'm doing!!
