Hi again,

I have a formula that uses a row reference ROWS($B$1:$B1). I want to drag this across the columns, but need the second part of the ROWS formula to +1.

So in Column B the formula would read ROWS($B$1:$B1)
in Column C it would read ROWS($B$1:$B2) and so in. Is this possible?

Thank you.

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Forget about the formula for a second.
What is it that you are ultimately trying to do?
Are you simply trying to create a column counter?

This formula should produce the displayed results that you want when dragged across...

=COLUMNS($B1:B1)
