how to check if cell not empty, say ok otherwise no

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Assuming the header data1 is in A1, then in E2 and copy down:

=IF(COUNTA(A2:D2)>0,"ok","no")
Also assumes "empty" cells are truly empty and not containing a formula that returns "" (null string).
