Hi Everyone,
I need two macros and not sure the best way to do them

I need one macro that when run take the activesheets name and adds it to Control range A35

Then another that when run looks at Control A35 and if its not empty message box's "Stop, There has been an Error, (new line) You still have data in Sheet (and the name in Control A35)

Please help if you can

Thanks
Tony

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Code:
Sheets("Control").Range("A35") = ActiveSheet.Name

Code:
With Sheets("Control").Range("A35")
    If .Value <> "" Then
MsgBox ("Stop, there has been an error" & vbCr & "You still have data in Sheet " & .Value)
        Exit Sub
    End If
End With
