SUMIF with condition

Hi, I would like to use formula to sum-up total for Mac, Macy and Mike. The formula I'm using is SUMIF(Column 1,"Mac"&"*",Column 2), but this formula will capture Macy as well.

Can anyone help?

=SUM(SUMIF(A:A,"Mac"&{"",1,2,3},B:B))
