So, I'm pretty much a noob at Excel and this will probably be one of those kinds of questions, but here goes.

I have a table with the first two columns being 1 hour increment markers (staggered +1hr), labeled T1 and T2. the next column will be a set of COUNTIFS functions asking if a set of conditions occurred during that hour.

In other tables up to now, I've mostly needed only one value, and a simple 'Table1[Start Time], [@T1]' would complete the column. However, now I have 2 values and I'll need to include both :00 and :59. Using the [@__] method with >= operators either returns a 0 or errors regardless of how I configure the syntax.

So, am I typing something wrong in my COUNTIFS statment? Or should I be using another function entirely to accomplish this?

Many thanks in advance.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
if you're counting "events" between 2 times in a table with Countifs maybe try,

=countifs(table1[Start Time],">="&[@T1],table1[Start Time],"<="&[@T2],table1[event],[@event])
