Hello-
I have data as this: How would be cleanest way to do this. to populate the blank column

Name age Category
Joe 19
Sue 24
Berli 10

I would l calculate the age category so that
age <12 = child
12-17 - Adolescent
18+ = adult

Name age category
Joe 16 Adolescent
Sue 24 Adult
Berli 10 Child

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
In C2 =IF(B2>18,"Adult", IF(AND(B2>11,B2<18),"Adolescent","Child")) and copy down

How about
=LOOKUP(B2,{0,12,18},{"Child","Adolescent","Adult"})
