I currently have the following Conditional Format rule that changes fill color of cells in column A based on Text found in column B.
Formula chosen is
=AND($A1="", $B1="EE")

Applied to
=$A$1

I would like to add additional Text items to look for so that It will change the color if "EE" or "H" or "V" is in Column B. I have tried several things but have not gotten it to work.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
How about
=AND($A1="", OR($B1="EE",$B1="H",$B1="V"))

You can highlight column B>click on conditional formation>create a new rule> select the rule as "Format only cells that contain>in that rule you will see an option as "Format only cells with">in that option select "Specific Text">Add your text and choose which color format you want to keep>click ok

You can keep adding multiple rules in the same column i.e. B. I hope this would help you.
