I would like to do a macro that will hide the last row and the total row in a table in excel. Any advice?
Thank you!

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Try this

Code:
Sub Macro1()
  Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp)(0).Resize(2).EntireRow.Hidden = True
End Sub

Try this - change the table name to match the name of your table:
Code:
Sub HideLastAndTotalRows()
Dim LO As ListObject
Set LO = ActiveSheet.ListObjects("Table1") ' change table name to suit
With LO
    .DataBodyRange.Rows(LO.DataBodyRange.Rows.Count).Resize(2).Hidden = True
End With
End Sub
