I got a question answered and then I posted another question in the same thread. I forgot I needed to post new questions in new threads.

I get an error with trying to insert the following formula into a cell in vba.
Code:
.Range("M11").Formula = "=IF([@[Wait Time/Hrs]]<3,3,[@[Wait Time/Hrs]])"

The names are column headers

Thanks

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
I just hard coded in the cell reference and got it working.

If M11 was in the table, then what you posted should be fine.

If M11 is not in the table, then you need to include the table name ..
Code:
.Range("M11").Formula = "=IF(Table1[@[Wait Time/Hrs]]<3,3,Table1[@[Wait Time/Hrs]])"

.. but note that a simpler formula could be
Code:
"=MAX(Table1[@[Wait Time/Hrs]],3)"

Thanks for that Peter, I will try it when I get back to work on Wednesday and let you know if there are any problems.
