Formatting Dates

G'day all.

I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the way the following dates appear. For some reason the date format changes after every 15 or so entries.

11/27/2000
11/28/2000
11/29/2000
11/30/2000
1/12/00
4/12/00
5/12/00
6/12/00
etc...

It continues to change like this. Apart form manually adjusting (it goes back to the late 1970's!) is there an easier way to put it all in dd/mm/yyyy.

Thank you for your help

Thanks Richard.

Hadn't thought about that, I think that that is why it is causing problems though. Thanks mate.

I'm from the Gold Coast by the way. Good to see some Aussies around in here!

Excel Facts

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Ok. I have been able to get the data like this through text-columns:

a b c
1 24 1984
1 25 1984
1 26 1984
1 27 1984
1 30 1984
1 31 1984
2 1 1984
2 2 1984
2 3 1984
2 6 1984
2 7 1984
2 8 1984

Can I now put this back together in the format that I want? So can i recognise column A as month, B as day and C as year and 'mash' them back together?

Thanks again guys. Sorry for prolonging this!
