I need to write a macro which will look at two workbooks ( A & B), then
update the price column (say column J)
contained in a worksheet within workbook A with the data contained in a
worksheet (column J) within workbook B.
Both A and B workbooks have a common P/No field but the similar P/No's will
almost certainly be on different lines
numbers. I am sure VLOOKUP will come into the equation somewhere.
Thanks for the help.

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"

Not sure why you want a macro here, but you can use in column J in the WB that needs prices from the WB that has that information.

Your description of the problem omits alas much of the lay-out of the relevant data in both workbooks, so it's hard to be specific.
