Is there any way I can stop a vlookup from returning the next nearest result if nothing matches in its range?

Dont worry.
Fixed it with logic!!
i stuck FALSE at the end of my formula and it worked!!

If you're using a VLOOKUP formula like:

=VLOOKUP(A1,E1:H7,2,TRUE) [ or TRUE omitted]

change it to a VLOOKUP formula that looks like:

=VLOOKUP(A1,E1:H7,2,0) [ 0 means FALSE ]
