I am currently trying to create a way to do the following:

* have a user enter data on one worksheet
* have that data manipulated in another spreadsheet (utilzing worksheets there, static data, formulas, etc...)
* then have those calculations appear on the original spreadsheet

The goal here is to not allow the users to see or manipulate the data/formulas in the second spreadsheet.

I have all the data and the formulas done, but I cannot seem to achieve the goal of not having the users see the data/formulas.

Any suggestions??

TIA!!

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Activate the sheet you don't want users to see and choose Format>Sheet>Hide. You may assign a password if desired

Hmmm.

That's exactly what I thought as well. However, the calculations do not seem to work for anyone else except for me -- with or without a password.

:(

Eureka!

Figured it out... And it had nothing to do with actually protecting the data.

I was using MROUND and the users I was testing with did not have the Analysis Toolpak add-in installed.

Problem solved.

Thanks!!
