Sorting in Excel

I have written down following in excel row...

Sheet1
sheet3
sheet2
sheet10
sheet11
sheet12


now when i give sort command from excel .. excel sorts the items in following way...

sheet1
sheet10
sheet11
sheet12
sheet2
sheet3


I have written all charactes in lower case.

Actually the sorting should be in

sheet1
sheet2
sheet3
sheet10
sheet11
sheet12
sheet13


how should i overcome this problem

Then you need to name them that way:

sheet01
sheet02
sheet03
sheet10
sheet99

sheet001
sheet101
sheet358

If this is a sort you use often, you might consider creating a custom sort list. See help file for info.
