Need formula to convert meters to feet and inches instead of meters to feet and tenths.

Here's one way that requires the Analysis ToolPak add-in.

=TRUNC(CONVERT(A1,"m","ft"))&"' "&ROUND(CONVERT(MOD(CONVERT(A1,"m","ft"),1),"ft","in"),0) &""""

CONVERT is handy if you don't know the conversion factors or if you want to specify your units of measure in a worksheet cell and modify them as needed.

39.3701 conversion factor
39.3701 total inches
3.3701 inches
