ok, another issue. I have my data on worksheet3 with names, numbers, units, etc as columns. I have a cell on sheet 1 that I want to input the unit number. I want all the matching units and the other rows that coincide with those found to be display in an area on the sheet1. I orginal did it through get external data and ran a msquery from sheet3(which was really internal). It works on my computer but when emailed, the link to the external data(which is really internal) in wrong thus it doesnt work. any help would be appreiciated.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Try vlookup. I've got several posts that describe them. Do a search.
