Have made a neat Excel workbook using lotsa Macros. Is there any way to make the workbook work as a "normal" program? Not simply load in Excel?

    Yes and No.

If you are actually using Excel as a spreadsheet and is interacting with the macros then the answer is no.

If you are just using macros to interact with each other or with other programs, then you could get VB6 which allows you to create standalone projects.

e.g. I may have created a program in Excel that shuts down my computer after a designated amount of time has passed, usually the time it take for me to get home from work. This has a userform to input time and a few lines of code that only interacts with Windows. This could easily be put into a simple VB program.
