    HELP!!
I have a corrupted file that generates an application-killing error whenever I try to open the workbook. I have written a program that successfully mined the data out of the cells, but I need to pull the VBA code out (I know, I should have backed it up!) Any ideas?

I just saw this post. I've found a method of recovering code from corrupted WBs. However, it's at the office. Will post tomorrow.

Now why does this sound familiar?
Option 1.Try opening the file with macros disabled.
Option 2.Try creating a new file, and manually creating a link to the corupt file. ie
In cell A1, type "='C:filedir[Book1.xls]Sheet1'!A1" (with appropriate path & name of course)
Now copy this down and accross until you have all the data on this sheet.
!!Oops, just re read your post, you have the data. Option 1 has worked for me with the code.
Option 3. Try opening on a different machine or with a different (later) Excel version. This has worked for me in the past.
