I want to have a cell showing the quotient of A2, B2

ex. cell showing result of A2 divided by B2

I can't seem to find a formula that does this....does anyone know.

I feel like this simple formula definitely has to be possible, but I read the whole list of formulas and can't find it.

Please help.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Not that you'd necessarily want to, but you could actaully call the function
=QUOTIENT(A2,B2)
instead of using the divison operators as listed above.

For more on operators see the Excel Help topic for "Calculation operators in formulas".
