I'm pretty sure I'm correct in stating "you can't use a data filter to list by colors".

Is that a correct statement?
If I'm incorrect, please instruct me.

Thanks,
Mike

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
You're correct, you can't. Use the search function or look back through the pages as there are many posts on this subject.

If by "data filter" you mean AutoFilter... you can filter on text values such as "red", "green", "yellow"; but not on the colors themselves.
