Well, day two and I have another issue dealing with the same data I have been using in another posting.

I am working with a Pivot Table trying to sum a range of data by years. The data is entered as mm/yy. When I try to group the data together by year to get a sum for that year, the grouping changes the date, but incorrectly.

For example:

00
01
02
99

These dates change to:

1900
1901
1902
1999

I have checked my cell content and the cells are Custom/mmdd.

Any suggestions?

Thanks again,
Jason

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
You have to change the way two-digit years are interpreted. For Win98 or 2000 go to Control Panel|Regional Settings(Options)|Date and change the upper limit for the century.
