Thanks for your response

I was not specific enough in my needs; I want to delete spaces before and after a text but I don't want to delete spaces inside the text; for instance, for cost of product, I want all the spaces before and after deleted but not the ones between cost and of and of and product

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Would the TRIM function help then? Something like
=TRIM(A1)

Then you can copy it down, and paste special values over the formula'd range. Would that work?
