How do i validate input boxes when they have been created?

I created the input boxes and they work. But i need to validate some of them. when i use data, validation, for a cell or a column it works but only when the data is entered manually. How do i validate the input boxes?

Hi Sami

What are you refering to as "input boxes" and what do you want to validate them against.

If you are talking about ComboBoxes are they from the "Forms" toolbox or the "Control Toolbox" and are they on Worksheets or UserForms.

hey, ive got a macro to input a new product in the system. The product ID in coulumn C has to be validated by text length to = to 4 characters. Also the Price in column D has to be validated for currency (if thats possible in £)
