Is there a way to make e-mail address link to outlook express without having to go to hyperlinks and typing mailto:test@mymail.com ? in word it will automatically link when you type the address

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
In Excel 2000, if you type:

test@mymail.com

It should convert to a hyperlink. In fact, it will try to launch Outlook (which is no good or me personally). Are you in 97?

Hmmm.... I don't recall. I suppose you cannot choose Format-Cells and choose hyperlink, sooo...do this:

Copy those cells right into Word. It should create a column in Word that looks virtually the same.

Select the entire column. Hit Format-Style, make sure it says *all styles* at the bottom of the list. Choose Hyperlink. I'm almost certain 97 has that option. You can check before you move it to Word. If you get the hyperlink on there, go ahead and copy. Go back to Excel, click on first *bad* hyperlink cell and hit paste.
