Update links without being asked

When a workbook has links in it and it is opened, Excel automatically asks you "Do you want to update links...." and if you press "no" the links are not updated. Is there a way to have the links updated automatically WITHOUT having Excel ask you?

I tried using the statement
Application.AskToUpdateLinks = False
in the Workbook_Open object, but the message still pops up. Anyone have any ideas?
