#NAME!

I wrote a macro that fills some columns with formulas. Simple ones, like "=H2+(H2*($H$3*D2))". It works just fine on my system, but I sent this spreadsheet to someone else and they say that they get the "#NAME!" error in every cell!

I asked them to check the formula, and tell me what it says. From what they tell me, the formula is EXACTLY as it is on my system. But for them it produces the #NAME! error.

We both are using Excel 2000. There is one difference between the versions though. He is in the UK, and I am here in the US. Could that be the problem? And if so, how could I fix it?

Thanks for any help!

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
You can trace all precedents beginning with the cell containing the formula, =H2+(H2*($H$3*D2)), back to the cell that generated the #NAME? error by using the Trace Error button on the Auditing tool bar. The Auditing tool bar found under the Tools | Auditing menu path.
