What is the formula to calculate the Pro Rata Factor? Basically I want to be able to take 2 dates (start date - end date) then devide by 365 and come up with the pro rata factor. Can anyone help?

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Hi

If you are trying to calculate the percentage of a year the number of days between the 2 dates is then

=(enddate - startdate)/365
