Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Try this:

sub auto_open
application.run("Your Macro Name")
end sub

Don't include the "sub".

FYI, workbook_open goes into the "ThisWorkbook" module. The code above goes into any old normal module.
