This is either a question which has been asked and answered a long time ago or there is some sort of bug in my excel97 program.

I cannot run my excel97 program on any other (tried 3 machines) exce2000 system. My excel97 program runs just fine on machines with Office97 excel installed.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.

What kind of program is it? What are you using? VBA? Formulae?
"This is a straight Excel97 program. No VBA, simple formulas. Only three sheets. One array formula. That's it. I can send the program to you if you like.

Problem solved. It appears to be a bad floppy. My floppy did not work in anybody's machine. I wrote a new floppy and my Excel97 program no runs on 97 and 2000.
Thanks for your effort. Sorry for the panic.
