a graph to detail percentage increase/decrease?

this seems pretty basic, but is there a graph that can show how much something increases or decreases over time? sort of a modified bar graph, with the x axis in the middle of the graph as opposed to the bottom (for only positive values)...with the bar in the middle, it can detail a percentage decrease as well (bar heading down below the axis)

is this possible? thanks!!
 

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
If your data contains negative values Excel will plot these no problem. A simple line chart should give you what you need?
