Question 2 of 3 - enable disable window splitting

Is it possible to disable window splitting (/Window/Split) and if so how?

(A colleague maintains that she can't get /Window/Split to respond and claims it must be disabled - this was by phone - I can't see her system directly).

Try this when you open the workbook:

' Window Menu
Application.CommandBars("Window").Enabled = False

When you close the workbook do this:

' Window Menu
Application.CommandBars("Window").Enabled = True

Or you can do the following if you only want to temp remove "Window Split":

When you open your Workbook do this:

Application.CommandBars("Window").Controls("Remove &Split").Delete

When you close your workbook do this:

Application.CommandBars("Window").Reset
