Pivot Table Charts - User Defined

Hi,

I've created a Line - Column chart (Custom Types) and added it to the User-Defined area. The reason for creating a user defined chart was due to the fact that every time I changed the chart series using a Field Button on the pivot table chart, the chart type changed to the 'Default' chart type. I added VBA code so that when this particular chart was selected, the chart type changed to the user-defined settings.

No problem when I open the file and select the chart, however, when other users open the file and select the chart they are getting a VBA error - cannot find the User-Default chart. It would seem that user defined settings chart settings are not stored within the workbook...

Is it possible to share the user defined chart with other users? If so, how?

Regards,
Jon

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Since you are already using VBA in this solution, just use it to create the kind of chart you want. Instead of picking a particular user-defined chart, modify the default chart so that it looks the way you want.
