Is there a way to configure Excel to automatically put two decimal points in the cell like a 10-key machine. For example, when I key in 12345, I want it to display 123.45

    Thanks

Choose the Tools | Options... menu command. Consult the Edit tab. Set the Fixed Decimal value to 2.

Is there a way to restrict it to certain columns or rows inside a spreadsheet?

This setting (until modified) applies to all subsequent entries regardless of their location.
