Being new to Excel, this problem might seem obvious to you experienced users, but I can,t seem to solve it!!!
I have a simple spreadsheet, with the cells formatted as time, to calculate daily time worked against a target - mainly to keep track of time worked on a flexi-time system. Problem is that occasionally I need the balance of hours worked daily to show a minus time, and it just won,t do this!!! Help????

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying

Switch to the 1904 date system (see the Calculation tab via Tools|Options).
