Can anyone tell me how to unconcatenate? I need to break out column A1 which has names like Smith, John

into B1 = John and C1= Smith

Everytime I do it I get the comma after Smith in C1 is there a way to grab just Smith without the Comma?

Thanks

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
The best solution is what has been mentioned above. However, if you were trying formulas and just want to see how to do it with formulas, here is one way:

For the First Name: =RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND(",",A1)-1)
For the Last Name: =LEFT(A1,FIND(",",A1)-1)
