I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure this out. I have two sets of data that are pulled from databases, both representing the amount of time someone worked. One shows the time as a decimal in minues, for example 91.23 (91 minutes), and the other is shown in time format, example 1:31. My boss wants a total time worked but in order to add the data I need to have it in the same format. Just changing the cell format doesn't work. Also changing the format in the databases is out of the question. Does anyone know of a way to do this. I'm at a loss and ready to start pulling my hair out. Thanks!

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Try multiplying your time by 1440. Take the column that has 1:31; multiply it by 1440; and format the column to display a number to give 91 minutes.

I hope this helps.
Kind regards, Al.
