I have 100 trucks ( column A ) numbered 1 - 100 in rows 3 thru 102. Columns B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P represent what each truck is carrying. Some trucks have the same items from columns B thru P and some do not. I want to sort the columns B thru P to find which trucks are hauling the same loads. My hangup seems to be that the trucks have a truck # which I must maintain. I currently highlight the entire range ( including truck # in column A and sort by one column at a time. Is there a faster way ? Thanks...........

Excel Facts

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Have you tried doing sub sorts on your columns? You may have all ready done this but thought I would mention it.

Maybe try using the autofilter? Choose one item from column b, and the rest should automatically filter to the same thing.

Hope that helps (and makes sense for that matter! )

You'd have an easier time if your data was reorganized. Why have you chosen this organization? I understand the columns B:P contain load descriptions, but are these at different times, dates, or possible configurations? Why 15 columns? Are some of these cells in these columns empty? Can you provide some sample data?
