Is there a simple way to merge two Excel spreadsheets and purge the duplicate records? For example, in a customer file, I want to compare addresses or phone numbers and delete an entire record if it is a match. The way that I am currently performing this is very cumbersome. There must be a better way, need assistance. Thanks.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Do you have to merge and purge your sheets or data? For this there are many software to solve the problem. Better you can use that kind of merge purge software.
