Please help new to write alpha to a column

I have a column that has weight in it. Example 7 pounds., The column just has a 7 in it now I need ti write the letters lbs after the number.

Sort by date Sort by votes
Format, Cells, Number tab. Custom format=

#"lb"

That should work.
