I need to create a time formula so when I type (for example) 02123017 in the cell it becomes 02:12:30:17

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.

What's the format for this time model?
days:hours:minutes:seconds?

If you just want to format it you could use...

00":"00":"00":"00

...but, keep in mind that internally this value is still stored as the integer, 2123017.
