I am always copy & pasting as link.
Is there anyway to move the "Paste as Link" option so that it shows up when you right click the mouse button in the first screen?

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Not sure how to do what you ask, but here's an alternative

Record a macro where all you do is select "paste as link". Then you can assign the macro a shortcut like CTRL-N or something you can easily hit. Or you can even give it an icon in your toolbar to quickly click.

Worked fine for me....alternatively

Try pasting this code (taken from what I recorded and renamed) in a module in your personal.xls or in a module in the workbook where you perform this action:

Code:
Sub PasteLink()
    ActiveSheet.Paste Link:=True
End Sub

Now go to tools/macro and select play macro (or hit ALT-F8). select the PasteLink Macro and choose "options". You can now choose which key combination to assign this macro.

Worked great for me.
