This aggrevates me. You set up a chart in excel and drag the y-axis to a specific spot in your chart. Then the next time you open it, the y-axis position has moved!

Any suggestions?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Example: I have a spreadsheet underneath the chart. The data is for Jan. through Dec moving from left to right. I don't want to use a data table, so I simple place the y-axis to start at Jan on my spreadsheet. This way all the information on the spreadsheet lines up with the chart information. However, when I save it and return later, the y-axis will move slightly.

Perhaps your chart is adjusting to different x-axis values. What's your "Object positioning" setting on the Format Chart Area Properties dialog?
