URGENTTTTTTTTT!!!! I REALLY NEED HELP - VLOOKUP

I have created a VLOOKUP for searching for the product name in the product workbook when the product ID has been entered:

=VLOOKUP(ProductID,Products.xls!ProductTable,1,FALSE)

However although this should work i dont know why it keeps coming back with #NA
????

i have had the same problem. if you are doing a vlookup in the same workbook you will need to create abolute references..

ex.

vlookup(cell,$cell$:$cell$,1,false)

or you could try a values(trim()) formula on each column of data. i have found when i do this to each column (on both sources) the vlookup works.
