Hello,

I have the following code:
='\ADMINSTRATORPR-LOG-S1.xls'!S1_Q1_01_volume*S1_Q1_01_mf_fee

but I get #ref and cant' find name errors. what is the problem there?

source and target sheets are all in same directories.help..head explode soon.

thanks for help

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
hello,

it appears that if the named external reference is defined as a formulae (eg sum in this case) the recipient sheet will only update properly if the source is open.

only names defined as single cells will link while source is closed.
