Hi there -
I've recently switched from Quattro to Excel.

I'm using Excel 2002 XP.

I know this is possible, but I don't know what Excel calls it, so I can't figure out how to do it!

I have 1 workbook open.
I want to split my screen, so I can see part of Sheet A, and part of Sheet B. At the same time.

Thanks in advance - I'm sure it's simple.

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Hi Marion, I think what you are after is Window>New Window
then select
Window>Arrange>(pick your optiond from here either Tiled, Vertical, Horizontal, Cascade)

Note: this is in Excel97 but i wouldn't think it was too different in 2000

With your work sheet open, Select menu item Window-New Window. You will now have a "Book1:1" and a "Book1:2". (If Book1 was name of workbook) Size them to fit on screen side by side. You can select sheet A in one and Sheet B in other. Changes on one will reflect the other.

Play with it a bit and save a few time to Ensure you don't loose your good stuff.
